Available for families, groups and others, the sleepover program invites guests to spend the night at the venue to learn about the ocean and its many inhabitants, including a focus on sharks and whales. Have Sunday Funday at the Woodruff Arts Center
Every Sunday from 1 to 4 pm, the Woodruff Arts Center welcomes families for some free Sunday fun. The venue’s interactive environment includes workshops and activities and the opportunity to explore and create art in a beautiful setting. Go Dark at the Ferbank Museum of Natural History
The 21-and-over crowd has a new nightspot. Beginning in February 2017, the second Friday of each month will see Fernbank open its doors after hours for Fernbank After Dark, an exciting evening experience that will include hands-on science activities, science demonstrations, access to the museum’s exhibitions, live music, full bars, tapas menus, films in the giant screen theater and more. The science themes offered will change regularly, as will the immersive programming. It’s an innovative way for adults to enjoy a top Atlanta attraction while mixing science and the social scene.
