Get ready to glide into the holiday season at Avalon on Ice! Inspired by the iconic Rockefeller Center ice rink, this Atlanta tradition returns to Avalon for all from now until January 20. Soar to new heights this season at Ponce City Market's Skate the Sky! Perched ten stories above the bustling streets of Atlanta, this breathtaking rooftop ice rink offers a unique winter event. From November 29 to January 5, visitors can glide across the ice while enjoying panoramic city skyline views. Let the Season Sparkle

Add a touch of magic to your season with Garden Lights, Holiday Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. This beloved tradition returns for its 13th year, transforming the garden into a winter wonderland. From November 16 to January 12, visitors can wander through the illuminated gardens and marvel at stunning displays, including the world’s largest curtain of orchestrated sound and light and the homecoming of Alice’s Wonderland Returns.

Celebrate the Hanukkah Season

Across the metro area, countless Jewish organizations unite to light the menorah and commemorate community, tradition and family.

Join Chabad of North Fulton and Avalon for the 2024 Menorah Lighting Ceremony. This festive event will take place on the Boulevard on December 29 from 5 to 6 p.m. Gather to light the menorah, sing Hanukkah songs and enjoy delicious Hanukkah treats.

Shop Until You Drop

Immerse yourself in the winter spirit at the Atlanta Christkindl Market. This festive market, inspired by German Christmas markets, offers a delightful array of traditional German treats, including brats, schnitzel and Glühwein. You can also shop for handcrafted gifts, from ornaments to wood carvings. Join the fun at Buckhead Village from November 22 to December 24 and at Galleria on the Park from November 29 to December 22.

Remember to visit these Christmas markets: The Christmas Market at the Arbors of Alpharetta offers a festive atmosphere with live music, delicious food and exceptional gifts on December 1 from Noon to 4 p.m. For a more nature-inspired experience, head to the Chattahoochee Nature Center's Back to Nature Holiday Market on December 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
